Prophecys

It took him too much time to get out of that mess, while she just slipped away. It made him mad that she believed the only way was the way of the prophecy and even though he was delayed by their enemies she still lost some time to make it harder for him to follow her.

"Madness." Was what he could think of her actions, but he pressed on. When he arrived she was already dead. Died at the hands of the man the prophecy said she would, the guy who was all covered by a green robe to conceal his identity. "I am afraid you are too late, she was so weak that it was disappointing." John ignored the man and just went to her side, released her arms and legs from that unnatural position before rigor mortis made it impossible. "Is she your girlfriend, I beg your pardon, was she your girlfriend?" John still ignored him and grabbed something inside her jacket and took the sword from her waist.

"I'm sorry my friend but I don't like to be ignored, but since I'm in a good mood I will let you join her." A fireball was shot by the man in the green robe but it was caught in the middle of it's flight by another fireball, although it was smaller it was enough to stop the bigger one. "A counter, I haven't seen someone doing it successfully in ages, you have my compliments." He raised his hand again and a bigger fireball was once again shot against john and once again he destroyed it with a fireball of his own, the man kept shooting fireballs each one bigger than the other just to get destroyed in mid flight by John's fireball's.

"Can't you do anything else?" John taunted him but that man only answered by keeping shooting fireballs. "Sorry I'm getting bored of this." John pulled out the sword that he picked from Heleanor. "You expect to approach me with a sword!?" The man asked. "There's not much such a famous wizard like you can do about it." "You pompous fool." And has he raised his hands to cast another fireball nothing happened besides he waving his hands. "What's going on? How is this possible? What have you done?" And there it was another wizard that was inept at everything besides magic. "That is a information that someone that is going to die doesn't have a need for." John walked towards him with the sword him is right hand while the man just stood still staring in disbelief.

"I can't die today, the prophecy states that I have so much more to do!" John could hear panic him that man's voice. "You and your prophecies, you are so concentrated on the parts where you belong and the great things they tell that you will achieve that you not even ask yourselves if that's the end of it. Let me tell you a little secret, prophecy's don't care about who does do what, as long as the rest of the world thinks it was done as it was foreseen."

John was now right in front of him but that man didn't try to resist him so John took his cloak off. "I don't want to spoil the cloak with your blood and farewell mister Malem I will be living your life from now on." And John decapitated him and proceeded to burned his face to a point where it wasn't possible to recognize him.
